This Buddha is CAI Shiping. According to the examination, he was born in Xing 'an Prefecture (now Ankang) in Shaanxi Province in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties. One day on the old king dream order from him, to the "Ming Shan package" of the place to build views, enlightenment and practice, benefit one of the people. So he takes his apprentices Zhu Yusshun and Zhao Qing, carrying the six patriarch tablets, and searches all the way, climbing mountains and fording rivers. After several months of hardships, he finally finds it here. Through sky-observation, the gang is determined, and with the local Zha Sanwu et al., he collects alms and builds a Taoist temple at the top of the mountain.
